How to find events during a trip to Japan

Search by your travel dates and city, then check the session, ticket eligibility and transport plans.

Start with the event dates

Open the date search and enter the first and last days of your stay. Add a city or prefecture to narrow results. This filters event dates; check application and payment deadlines separately on the event page.

Check each tour stop or popup session

An event may have several cities or separate sessions. Select the one that overlaps your trip and confirm its venue and date. The span between the first and last dates does not imply daily events.

A known date does not imply a known time

TIME displays Japan Standard Time (JST). DATE means the day is known but the time is unannounced; TBD means the date is unknown. A date-only entry does not mean a midnight start. Check official timings before planning transport.

Ticket delivery can affect travel plans

Before booking travel, check eligibility, payment deadlines, ticket collection and device requirements. Overseas access and purchase rules can differ; consult the specific sales page. Genchi summarizes its catalog and cannot guarantee complete coverage or ticket availability.
